Mts. Einstein is 110 meters long and 14.05 meters wide. Longer than an entire soccer field.
With a carrying capacity of about 4,500 tons, the ship transports huge amounts of liquid cargo across Europe. By comparison, that’s about the weight of 2,500 passenger cars. Only then do you realize what moves across the water.
Within Interstream Barging’s fleet, this is not the largest. That title goes to Mts. Merwede (135 meters long and 17.50 meters wide), which was delivered just a bit earlier. We did the interior there as well, but she sailed out immediately, so taking photos was out of the question.
The Einstein shows very well how we work: practical, logical and attuned to life on board.
A wheelhouse that attracts attention and a living room where you can sit comfortably after a long day.
Whether a ship is 110 or 135 meters, the inside has to be right. And we think that worked out well here.
