With the Parkkade, another modern barge tanker has been added to Maaskade’s fleet. The vessel was officially christened on April 10.
The Park Quay was built to transport non-hazardous liquid cargoes. Think products such as mineral oils and vegetable oils. What’s also nice: the name Parkkade immediately evokes a link to the Port of Rotterdam.
In the interior of the Park Quay, a warm, quiet base was clearly chosen. Soft tones are interspersed with accents of greenery, keeping it lively without being busy.
What stands out is the attention to detail. The different wallpaper patterns give each room its own character, without it feeling restless. It creates depth and makes the interior just a little more personal.
At the same time, good thought has been given to practicality. Storage space is cleverly integrated, so that everything has its place and the rooms remain clear.
We think it is a wonderful combination of atmosphere, patterns, use of color and functionality.
A ship fit for these times. And with the industry’s next step.
