For the Fenix museum in Rotterdam, Hoogendoorn 1961 provided the interior. A special project in a building with a rich history: the former warehouse on the Rijnhaven, which has been transformed into a contemporary museum environment.

Our work here was all about combining old and new – preserving the industrial character, but at the same time ensuring a high-quality finish appropriate to the museum function. With custom wood, steel and detail work, we contributed to an interior in which the architecture and stories of the building reinforce each other.
