The Renaissance has been a household name in the city for over 50 years. In 1973 it opened its doors as Sonesta Hotel, and since 1993 it has been part of Marriott as Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel.
A new chapter began in 2022: a large-scale renovation that we were privileged to be a part of. From lobby to hotel rooms, from restaurants to meeting & event spaces.
In this first series, the focus is on the public spaces. We realized the custom work for the lobby, lounge, meeting rooms and restaurants.
The photos speak for themselves: a palette of warm earth tones and deep accents gives the spaces character and cohesion.
An interior combining modern design and historical influences, befitting the hotel’s rich history.
