the Bolsward

The design was inspired by the original streetcar vessel the Bolsward.

On the Borneokade now lies a dream of a ship: the Bolsward. Built on the basis of an existing hull, but completely redesigned and converted into a stylish houseboat.
The design is inspired by the original streetcar ship Bolsward, which used to transport passengers between Friesland and Amsterdam. That rich history lives on in the character and appearance of this special ship.

The result is an elegant blend of nostalgia and contemporary luxury.
