A new headquarters building was constructed for Verenigde Tankrederij right next to the existing office on the Waalhaven in Rotterdam. The building stands on a plot of over 8,000 m² and has 4 floors . In addition, a private berth for the ships has been constructed.
Sustainability was central to the design. The building is energy-neutral and equipped with solar panels, creating a future-proof working environment.
We were responsible for the complete office design. And inspired? Absolutely. The desire was for the design to match the look and feel of our own office. When you look at the photos, you immediately feel the connection: modern, layered and full of atmosphere. A pleasant working environment, exactly how an office space should feel.
Floor rugs bring warmth to the interior, while the black cabinet elements are not only practical, but also function as subtle room dividers. Durable materials such as natural stone and wood were used, giving the whole a warm and timeless feel.
