Looking at the interior of the Windcat 59, to a ”layman” it looks like a ferry. However, nothing could be further from the truth.
It is an offshore supply ship built in 2025. The vessel sails under the French flag and is designed to support offshore operations, such as transporting personnel and materials to offshore wind farms.
To maximize the route to wind farms, the Windcat has a reinforced hull, advanced navigation systems and comfortable accommodations in which personnel can experience an excellent crossing in various weather conditions.
