Arjan van Gammeren

My name is Arjan van Gammeren. I’m 48 years old, married to Annelies, and the father of two daughters: Nathalie (18) and Eline (16). As the only man in the house, I’m usually treated like a king—though there are exceptions, of course. 😉 In my free time, I enjoy being active.

My favorite sports are foot volleyball, soccer, volleyball, tennis, and inline skating. One special memory is the Elfstedentocht, which I skated with Annelies in 2022. But as soon as there’s natural ice, I still prefer to swap my wheels for skates.

I’ve been working at Hoogendoorn since 2015. I started as a planner/contractor coordinator and made the switch to sales in 2017, a role that suits me well. However, outsourcing work has never completely disappeared from my responsibilities. Especially when our own schedule fills up, I check within our established network of interior construction companies to see who can take on a project. Together with the project manager, I then oversee this work from Hoogendoorn.

It is precisely those projects that are sometimes less visible to many colleagues, even though quite a lot is being accomplished behind the scenes. These projects are also carried out under the Hoogendoorn banner and must meet the quality standards and reflect the values we stand for. That flexibility toward our clients and the sense that no project is too big make me proud to work for Hoogendoorn.
